Examination
At the examination appointment the dentist will look at your teeth, gums and the rest of your mouth and take any necessary radiographs (X rays). The dentist will then discuss your treatment options with you and provide you with an individual treatment plan with prices and an outline of the appointments needed and the proposed treatment for each appointment
Should you already have a treatment plan or a digital opg (all round) radiograph if you e mail it to us we are often able to give you a fairly accurate price of the treatment needed without an examination
Preventive Care, routine dental maintainance
So that you are able to maintain a healthy, functioning mouth the dental clinic offers a complete range of preventative therapies, these include
Cleaning (scale and polish) to keep your gums in a healthy condition and some research suggests helping prevent heart disease
Fluoride treatment to help prevent or stop tooth decay

Crowns and Bridges

We provide crowns or bridges made out of gold alloy fused to porcelain (bonded), gold alloy or all ceramic metal free crowns/bridges

Extractions
In the event that you have to have a tooth extracted, we offer gentle extractions so as to minimise problems afterwards, if you are considering an implant after an extraction at times we can place the implant the same day or place artificial bone in the socket so as to make future implant placement more succesfull
Teeth whitening
We offer 3 forms of tooth whitening

1. Tooth whitening in the clinic this involves placing a specialised tooth whitening substance on the teeth and exposing it to a very intense light that activates the product causing the teeth to lighten
2. Tooth whitening at home for this proceedure we take impressions and the laboratory manufactures individually made custom fitted mouthguards which are worn at home using a specialised whitening gel provided by the clinic
3. Combination whitening, this consists of a whitening proceedure in the clinic followed by a home kit to ensure the teeth remain whitened

Endodontics (root fillings, root canal therapy)
Endodontics is a form of dental treatment that is used to keep a tooth that would otherwise become painfull, may become infected or has to be extracted. By using proven modern techniques and equipment we can ensure that you can look forward to a high success rate and a non traumatic proceedure
Implants
We use high quality implants from certified manufactures, the type of implant that we provide is based on the different properties of each one and patient preference, these include implants by Braenmark, Nobel, Zimmer, Friadent and Straumann
Veneers
We offer veneers made from porcelain or composite filling material and ultrafine porcelain veneers which usually require no drilling of the teeth
Dentures
